This summit made me feel seen, heard, and empowered as a male caregiver!
Working with Sherrell D. Mims-Baker and the Global Caregivers Network was an incredible honor and unforgettable experience. From the moment I was invited to speak, Sherrell made the entire process seamless, from clear communication and helpful guidance to the excellent coordination of the event itself.
The transition from start to finish was smooth, thanks to Sherrell’s professionalism, positivity, and leadership. Honored and Grateful!
I am honored to have participated in the anthology project titled; “A Caregiver's Expression: Mother's Day Edition Volume 2.” As a caregiver for over 65 years, I was delighted to receive an invitation from Sherrell Mims to participate in this project. My contribution to this anthology allowed me to share my views on caregiving for senior citizens. They deserve the best care in their old age. At the current age of seventy-seven, I am grateful to have been guided by the Holy Spirit to provide personal care services to those in need. Amazing and Grateful!
I had an amazing time and I am grateful to have been able to kick off the event (1st Annual Global Male Caregiver Summit, April Edition) as the first speaker. Sherrell Mims opened my eyes to the need for more male caregivers to step up and speak out and I was grateful to answer the challenge. Sherrell was very supportive throughout the summit.
